TUPADO provides Biomedical, Behavioural and structural interventions at community through community integrated outreaches for HIV prevention services, peer -to- peer approach and community sensitization. The programme has reached 1,566 both key populations and priority populations who have received services like HIV testing, Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis, health education, promoting acceptability and availability of condom and support demand in order to reduce HIV infection among these risk populations in Turkana County(Kainuk, Lokichar, Lodwar Township, Kalokol, Longech Kakuma and Lokichoggio).
Sexual and gender based violence (SGBV)prevention and response through reaching community members with messages on gender norms and appropriate response to SGBV including referrals, training peer educators on mentorship programs for adolescent and young people including adolescent girls and young women as well as men affected by HIV.
